Patakès Théâtre invites you to join it in Joël Pommerat's revisiting of Cinderella.
In his rewrite, he shatters all the pieces of the old tale, laid down by Charles Perrault and the Grimm brothers, and turns the collective memory of Walt Disney's Cinderella on its head. Combining social satire, humour, poetry and emotion, his "Cinderella" traces the initiatory journey of a child who gradually learns to overcome the separation from her mother, to rediscover the desire to live, to love herself in order to be able to love.
This contemporary "Cinderella" is a wonderful play to be enjoyed by all generations.
