The ‘Qualité Tourisme’ / ‘Destination d'Excellence’ label

The Qualité Tourisme label is awarded to tourist establishments for the excellence of their welcome and the attention their staff pay to the expectations and needs of their customers. Qualité Tourisme is gradually evolving to become the Destination d'Excellence brand, which raises the bar in terms of eco-responsibility and information for people with disabilities.

The Green Key label distinguishes accommodation and catering establishments committed to environmental excellence through various initiatives such as energy, water and waste management.

The ‘Accueil Vélo’ label

The Accueil Vélo label recognises tourism providers committed to offering high-quality services to touring cyclists and demonstrates our destination's commitment to sustainable transport.

The 'Pavillon Bleu' label

The international Pavillon Bleu label is awarded each year to beaches and marinas that implement sustainable tourism development policies in various areas, including water, waste, biodiversity and awareness-raising. La Tranche-sur-Mer has been committed to this initiative since 1985 and has eight of the nine bathing sites in its territory certified with the label.

Bathing water quality

This certification guarantees high-quality, safe bathing water for users of our beaches. During the bathing season, La Tranche sur Mer checks the water quality daily, in addition to the mandatory analyses carried out by the Regional Health Agency.

Protected natural sites

Two-thirds of La Tranche sur Mer's territory is preserved as natural areas and placed under regulatory protection zoning.
